This course is designed for workplaces, community groups, and individuals who want practical, hands-on CPR and defibrillator (AED) skills without the need for a formal Statement of Attainment. It's ideal for staff refreshers, community organisations, sporting clubs, or anyone who simply wants the confidence to act in an emergency.

Participants will learn:

  • How to recognise the signs of cardiac arrest
  • How to perform effective CPR on adults, children, and infants
  • How to safely and confidently use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • The DRSABCD action plan
  • What to do while waiting for emergency services to arrive

This session is delivered in a relaxed, practical format with plenty of hands-on practice using training manikins and AED trainers. It's a great option for workplaces wanting to build a culture of readiness without the cost or scheduling demands of a fully accredited course, or for anyone wanting a refresher between accredited certifications.
